Communicate.com Inc. has jumped into the Vietnam market through a recent partnership with Equasian Inc. to develop Vietnam.com.

The two companies have structured the partnership around the formation of a new private enterprise to be known as Vietnamdotcom Ltd. that will build-out Vietnam.com and its associated e-commerce businesses.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Communicate will receive $500,000 US and retain a 20% stake in the new private enterprise, Caymans-based Vietnamdotcom. Equasian will hold a majority stake in the new venture.

The Vietnam.com website will focus on a number of key consumer and service areas including travel and tourism services, trade information services, and financial services focused on the Vietnamese community worldwide.
