Financial firm Bloomberg L.P. Thursday launched an enhanced Tech Center on its Web site, in a move designed to offer comprehensive services for investors.
The Tech center now features news, data, and tools taken from Bloomberg's newswire feeds, video, indexes, book excerpts, magazine articles, market news, and worldwide reporting staff. In a sea of financial resources on the Web, Bloomberg.com wants to stand out by giving in-depth information, said David
Wachtel, publisher of Bloomberg Media.
"Our audience is the serious investor who needs to know more than just stock prices,"
Wachtel said. "The Bloomberg.com Tech Center environment is designed to
get investors inside a company to understand its history, its performance,
and its prospects."
